Forming in December 2007/early 2008, and meeting at Countesthorpe College, AstroManiacs are currently playing, without bass, as a 3-piece from Leicester.

After their forming, AstroManiacs have had their fair share of ups and down. Struggling hard to find a name that could stick, going through ‘Dead Arcade’, ‘The Interception’, and ‘Elite Reaction’, they have finally settled for AstroManiacs. They have started to create songs which their audience can relate to, and are starting to like! They recorded for the first time, in May 2008 at The Paddocks studio, however the songs were thrown together, so didn’t compliment their unique style.

Since then, they have created a bunch of songs which will have their fans singing along to the catchy tunes, and nodding their heads to the tantalising riffs! They have also re-entered the studio, this time Park Farm Studio, where they are currently in the process of recording four songs. They have a lot of new songs, some of which can be previewed under the ‘Music’ page. A few have already been touted by many as songs to look out for in the future!
